My Resume

I have always been somewhat of a late developer, and both my educational and professional histories are characterised by various detours and unexpected turns. This was already so at secondary school (HAVO, MAVO, HAVO, VWO). After finishing school (actually, even already when I was still at school) I pursued a business career, and lived in Germany for 3½ years, and in Italy for 2½ years. I started studying psychology only when I was 27; completed my Master's degree at 31, and my Ph.D. at the age of 35.

Come to think of it: being a late developer is even true for my family history: first child at 35, second at 39, third at 48 (first divorce at 44).
